Organic Rose Hip Seed Oil by Yumi Beautiful

Rose Hip Oil
Ever heard of it?
I hadn’t, until now!
It is quite a miracle product from what I have read.
After a rose blooms, in all of its glory; the petals fall off, and we are left with the rose hip. In order to make this valuable oil Yumi uses a cold press extraction. This separates the beneficial oils from the seeds and other organic matter. Yumi is all organic, and they don’t add any dyes or fragrances to their products. For these reasons, be sure to refrigerate your oil after opening!

Don’t expect to open this product and be enveloped a rose scent. No fragrance added remember? It doesn’t smell bad, just not like a rose garden. When you’re sniffing it straight from the bottle, it reminds me a little bit of fresh cut grass. When I’m rubbing it into my skin, I can’t smell anything.
What are the uses of rose hip oil? This oil is mainly used for your skin, but it’s benefits are vast. It reduces fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating your collagen production. It is supposed to help even out your skin tone, help stretch marks, and be good for sun burn! It is also great for people with sensitive skin. My favorite benefit, is it is supposed to help with skin discoloration.
I got very sun burnt this summer, about 2 weeks ago. After a week of pain and peeling, my face is still reeling from it.

See all those spots and discoloration? Very sad, I know.
I am going to use pat the oil on my face at night, as recommended, for the next week. I’m going to note how my skin feels each morning, and I will update with another up close and personal picture in about a week.

On top of applying it directly to your skin, you can also use it in any DIY beauty recipes. A quick search on Pinterest brings up quite a few! Here are some of my favorites:
Organic Rose Hip Seed Oil by Yumi Beautiful I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
